dead... kind of

yes, well, i was gonna do this sooner than now, but i didn't have the heart. i was gonna keep updating by providing the traffic reports, but i haven't done that in over a month. so i thought that since today is the 1 year anniversay of my blog, that i should kill it. but it's really not dead. you can still browse my archives, so that can provide you with numerous hours of funtasticness. or something. sadly, all of the comments will dissappear because yaccs sucks. they have a thing where after 3 months the comments dissapear from the comment box and can no longer be accessed from the comment box. but at least the posts will never dissappear. i enjoyed the time i spent here. so this is the end. but not to worry. you all know that i have my new blog here, right? it's really house of slug at a different url, so you should be familiar with the format. i just post random things about my life and things that i like to do. anyway, this is the part where i thank everyone that has ever come here. i especially thank all the people that posted comments throughout the months, you all know who you are. but i'll name you anyway! if i didn't start a blog i probably wouldn't have been made aware of people like my cupcake. or someone like brendoman, who has a great blog you should all check out (and i'm not just saying that cuz he's hosting me). and there's beth who has a neat frog site and an interesting cemetary site. and conformist, who had a blog but apperantly that dies. he posted on my new blog the other day, so i guess he's still around. anyway, there are other people that have been here, but these are the ones that kept coming back for more. i also want to thank my buddy amanda. even though she hasn't blogged in over 8 months, she was the first person that knew about my terrible blogging addiction, and i turned her over to it. even if it was short lived. but whatever. i hope you all come and visit me at my new place. *ahem* good bye. or rather, see you later. :-)

alrght, so my avid readers know that I am hosted... and now i have a blog at my new home! i have serious issues, more like problems really, when it comes to all this computer stuff, so i found it easier to just start it over. but in a way, this is good. it's a fresh start. so what will happen to this blog? i will continue to update it periodically, i'm thinking about once a week. this is my 1st blog, and as stupid as it sounds, it still hopds a special place for me. it's my own little peice of the internet. but the bulk of my post will be at the new place. the new house of slug is here. and of course, thanks a lot to brendoman for his help. until i find a new place to get comments from (i already used up all of my yaccs comment boxes) i won't have a comment box at my new place. but i hope to fix that soon. so thanks to everyone that has come since 3.12.02. i appreciate that you took the time to read about my meaningless existance (sp?) and i hope that you continue to come to my new place.

tonight i went to see the lord of the rings: the two towers with the expectations that it would be great. i was wrong. it wasn't great. it was excellent, amazing, flawless even. seriously, i've never been so utterly pleased with having seen a movie like i am right now. everything about this movie was awesome. i could give you details and more reasons as to why you should see it, but you know you have to. you must. if you enjoy good quality movies, then this is a no brainer. i promise you that you won't be dissapointed. and i was just wondering... is it wrong to love gollum in a weird "awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww isn't he cute?" kinda way? i mean i just wanna hug him and feed him some small animals or something.

i don't think i've ever enjoyed a wednesday the way i've enjoyed it today. why? because yesterday i took my last 2 finals, and now i have 5 weeks until classes start again! this gives me time to move my blog to its new home! and time to do this thing called "sleep". i hear 6 hours of that stuff works wonders. anyway, last time i posted something i listed a song that i felt that you should download. it is really great, and you should download more of this band. but you probably won't like them if you like britney spears or anything like that. and if you the reader do like britney, please leave my blog and never return for i shall know if you do and i will have to hunt you down, kill you, flay your carcass, and wear your skin as a ceremonial robe. err, yes, anyway... todays song is also a great one. you should download it as well. in case you haven't noticed, i only list artists that i feel matter. and since i list them, that means i'm right. cuz i'm god.

another day in my fun fun silly willy life. last night at 2 am, i awoke to the sound of my carbon monoxide alarm going off. i at first thought that it was being stupid, so i just ripped it out of the socket. but then i sat on my bed thinking "what if i die?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? what would my public do without me?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?" so then i ran to the 'rents room and told them. my father checked the boiler and said nothing was wrong with it. so we all went back to sleep, but not before i was asked if i dreamt up the whole thing. stupid parents... so again this morning i heard the alarm go off, so i called my father and told him. he told me to call castle oil (our um, oil providers) and tell them that our boiler is going schizo (gee, dad, i thought you said nothing was wrong with the damn thing...) so a dude came and he checked it out and told me that the thing has been running without water, so he replaced the water meter thingy and started to fill it back up. but as it was being filled up steam started coming out of the damn thing. he told me he would come back later when the thing has cooled down and see if it's salvageable. so basically, the thing was releasing fumes and that's what i guess set the alarm off. now i have no heat, and i'm cold. and the boiler might have to be raplaced which will cost mucho beaucoup $$$. fun times indeed. why couldn't it just last forever? or until we sold the damn house? grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr but on a happy note, winona ryder was caught with a yummy combination of drugs last year when she went crazy and stole all that shit. among the drugs she had was liquid demerol, vicoden, percodan, valium, diazepam, oxycodone, endocet, and morphine sulfate. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm i get weak in the knees just thinking about it.

i am so god damn tired. tired of school mostly. with all the papers that i've written this past weeek, i feel like my brain will explode. not pleasant. i haven't even wanted to go near a computer, and that's why i haven't even bloged, or made a rockin layout for my new hosted blog thingy. yes, anyway, i'm grateful that it's thanksgiving cuz that gives my 5 glorious days to recover from being burnt out. but then i have another term papaer to do for my health class. i don't even know what my topic should be. i think it's due in 2 weeks so i have some time, right? but no matter. tomorrow i will feast on turkey carcass, and friday i shall sleep all day. today, i shall watch tv and stuff. i already saw lotr the extended dvd version today. it was rockin, as i remember it was when i went to see it last year. i can't wait for the two towers. i ususally provide links and shit, but i have no will to do that. i have no will for anything at the moment. well, that is all. see you all later.
